Moon Dance at the Ajo Square

After 2 weeks outside of Medera Canyon south of Tucson, we arrived in Ajo AZ just in time for the Moon Dance. In honor of the full moon, a local band was playing at the square.

Early the next morning that full moon sets over the hills west of town.

We'll spend a couple nights at Shadow Ridge RV Park taking care of a few chores before heading into the desert south of town.

Greetings from Southern Arizona

We're currently boondocking outside Madera Canyon, about an hour south of Tucson AZ.

Last November found us spending some time visiting relatives in Silver City NM, and friends in Portal AZ.  We actually stayed in Portal for a couple of weeks volunteering again at the Cave Creek Canyon visitors center.

We spent December 2021 through January 2022 at our usual spot in Tucson Meadows RV Resort on the east side of Tucson to get all our medical checkups done.

This is the first year we were there for the Christmas parade.

It was great seeing all our friends at Tucson Meadows but it's nice to be out in the desert again.
