What's in Bouse? In 1889 Thomas Bouse mined for gold here, staking several claims including one called "Old Dutchman Mine". In 1942 Camp Bouse, a top secret Tank training base, was established, commanded by Gen. George S. Patton! We're here to stay at Desert Pueblo RV Resort, a Passport America campground with full hook ups and free WiFi for about $16 a night. This is another one of our "Power Stops", literally and figuratively. It's been 34 days since we last had electric hook ups. We'll do "LOTS" of cooking, laundry, dump the tanks and refill with fresh water. And there's the all important loooong showers!

We spent 3 nights at Desert Pueblo, had a good time and got a lot done. All the people here were friendly including the manages who were very helpful.
