20 miles west of the Las Vegas strip is this beautiful canyon (link).
Not only did we have to reserve a camp site, we had to reserve a time window to start the scenic drive. It even costs $2 to visit the visitors center!
The campground has no cell service so I'll make a follow up post once we explore the canyon.
