Hope everyone had a good 4th.
We've been here a couple of weeks, lead two kayak trips so far and we're getting settled in. This is the first year for a new on-line reservation system for the kayak trips and their still working out the kinks. The welcome center is about a mile inland from the coast so the wind isn't quite as strong and the "marine layer" (fog) doesn't usually come in this far. However, today it was foggy and cold (high 50's) all day. Luckily today was one of the two days during the week there's no kayak trips.
