A walk around Ajo AZ

Here's some pictures collected in and around Ajo last January.

Why, AZ is a crossroads just south of Ajo with a campground, restaurant and a well decorated convenience store / gas station called Why Not!

Greetings from southern AZ

Well, without intending to, I seem to have taken a winter hiatus from the blog. We spent several months volunteering for Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Ajo, AZ. After some time in Tucson, AZ we returned to Portal, AZ and Cave Creek Canyon. Soon we'll be heading north in the general direction of the central Oregon coast where we'll spend the summer leading kayak trips for Oregon State Parks.
